Allison is POAH’s Vice President of Finance and Accounting responsible for the integration and coordination of all accounting aspects of the organization, its subsidiaries and its multiple operating partnerships. She ensures that all activity is captured and properly recorded and acts as a liaison with POAH’s management company, POAH Communities. She also manages the accounting of property purchases and rehabilitation and the preparation of cost certifications, and annual audits and tax returns for the properties that POAH owns.
A Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts, she previously worked as a property accountant for The Community Builders and as an audit manager specializing in affordable housing for Ziner & Company, PC (later Ziner, Kennedy & Lehan, LLP). She oversaw client management for audit engagements, performed cost certification audits for newly constructed and rehabbed projects, prepared financial statements, footnote disclosures, partnership and non-profit tax returns. Allison has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bryant University.
