Kristel Salinas is a Project Manager with POAH, responsible for overseeing construction management, project budgets, along with dealings with contractors and architects. She works on developments that include new construction, renovations and neighborhood revitalization.
Previously, she worked for the Zachry Group in San Antonio, TX that provides construction, engineering, maintenance, and fabrication services to the power, energy, chemicals, manufacturing and industrial sectors. She worked on project/ proposal management including supporting the development of consistent, professional quality materials to streamline and support proposal and qualification preparations. She also developed standard operating procedures and work instructions for the Project Support Department and trained engineers on document management system software and working file management systems; helped establish processes for engineering work packages; and provided support for document reviews and documentation of specification standards and drawings for engineering discipline managers.
Kristel has Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from Texas A&M University -Corpus Christi and was a member of the United Way Emerging Leaders Council.
