Michelle King is a Senior Asset Manager in POAH’s Ownership and Operations department serving as POAH’s liaison to our subsidiary property management company, POAH Communities. In this role, Michelle monitors the portfolio’s financial and operational performance, evaluates budget variance requests, develops rental subsidy contract strategies, handles investor/lender relations, and conducts site visits to the properties in the POAH owned portfolio. Michelle ensures compliance with POAH policies and procedures, while offering assistance and guidance to POAH Communities staff, and identifying opportunities to maximize the value of the POAH portfolio.
Prior to joining POAH, Michelle was a director of asset management with The Silver Street Group, overseeing the implementation and development of budgets and capital plans for over 10,000 units across 64 properties. Previously she worked in property management with Silver Street Group affiliate Housing Management Resources, Dirigo and Corcoran Management Company
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with a minor in Real Estate Law from Bentley University. Additionally, she holds the following certifications: CPM, COS, COS Advanced, CHM, CMM, and is a Tax Credit Specialist.
