A Sun Chronicle story
ATTLEBORO — Gov. Maura Healey came to Attleboro on Tuesday afternoon to promote her Affordable Homes Act, which would provide $4 billion in funding for various housing projects.
She was escorted by Mayor Cathleen DeSimone on a tour of industrial buildings being converted to housing.
One of the stops was the recently renovated, 148-year-old Union Mills building on Union Street, which has been converted partly to affordable housing.
