Megan Slavish

Development Associate and Kuehn Fellow

Megan Slavish works closely with project managers throughout the development process, from acquisition through construction and project completion. She organizes materials for financial applications and submissions, manages construction and loan conversions, and collaborates with appropriate parties such as lawyers, lenders, investors, and members of the public to ensure the success of POAH’s projects.

Previously, Megan worked at Enterprise Advisors, the consulting arm of Enterprise Community Partners, and at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, DC. At Enterprise, she helped write the Tacoma Affordable Housing Action Plan, which received a Governor’s Smart Housing Strategies Award in Washington State. Megan was also a member of a multi-institutional team that took first place in the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s 2019 Affordable Housing Development Competition.

Megan has a bachelor’s degree from Beloit College in Wisconsin and a Master in Urban Planning degree from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University.
