Nikkitta McCoy is a project manager who assists the Chicago team with all aspects of POAH's developments including acquisitions, rehabilitations and financing. She assists in dealings with contractors, architects and others to ensure smooth operations. She helps the development team members, working with HUD, state housing agencies, lenders, investors and others to successfully complete phases of the redevelopment on time and on budget.
Nikkitta has been active in nonprofit real estate development at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago with work on Roseland Place and Roseland Village, both senior facilities. Previously she was office manager and operations manager at Genesis Housing on Chicago’s South Side, managing grant programs that create affordable single family housing, homeownership and provide financial counseling and energy training. Nikkitta has completed major coursework towards a Master in Urban and Regional Planning at Ball State University.
