CJ Jackson is a paralegal with the POAH legal team, which is responsible for managing the corporate legal needs of the company and the legal aspects of loan and property closings.
Jackson maintains corporate entities, assists with federal grant administration, assists the legal and development teams with creating legal documents and helps to coordinate closings for the real estate development staff. Jackson is responsible for legal document filing / record keeping, including corporate governance support and service of process and also provides support for the acquisitions, asset management, development, finance and property management staff.
Most recently, Jackson worked as a corporate paralegal at Jones Day law firm, performing real estate due diligence, preparing real estate documents and managing closing logistics for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and New Market Tax Credit transactions.
Prior to that, he was an executive assistant to the assistant general manager for capital delivery at the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority and had worked as a program coordinator at House to House, a non-profit community development organization operating on the west side of Montgomery, AL.
Jackson is completing his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Economics at the Extension Studies program at Harvard University and studied Economics and Philosophy at Auburn University.
