Thacher Tiffany

Thacher Tiffany is a project manager focused on the acquisition and redevelopment of multifamily affordable housing properties.  He coordinates all aspects of these projects including due diligence, financing, design and construction.  During his tenure at POAH, Mr. Tiffany has assembled financing and managed over $50 million in development costs in Massachusetts and Illinois.
Before joining POAH, Mr. Tiffany worked for Recap Advisors, a national leader in affordable housing preservation finance and policy.  His efforts included the preservation and financial restructuring of a 6,000 unit affordable housing project in Brooklyn, NY, the wrap-up of eight “year-15” housing tax credit partnerships sponsored by community development corporations in the city of Boston, and revising state LIHTC policy.  He is experienced in community and economic development practice and policy including policy research at the Brookings Institution and community development projects that included the development of a $12 million, 80,000 square foot, retail and office center in Denver, CO and a 53-unit warehouse redevelopment in Chelsea, MA.
Mr. Tiffany received a BA in Economics from Hobart College, a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a LEED Accredited Professional.  He serves on the real estate advisory board of the Somerville Community Corporation, the Board of Directors of First Night, and the Board of Tent City Corporation.
