Mr. Spofford is POAH’s Policy Director, responsible for coordinating the formulation and promotion of POAH’s public policy agenda.  He works with POAH staff, industry and public partners to develop and advance good preservation policy.

Mr. Spofford joined POAH as a Project Manager after receiving his master’s degree in urban planning at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. In addition to his graduate degree, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Harvard University.  Previously, he worked for National Strategies, a public affairs consulting firm in Washington, DC.
