Peter J. Roche, a nationally recognized real estate and community development professional, serves as a consultant to POAH. Over his career, Mr. Roche has provided leadership and development consulting services to scores of residential, commercial and mixed use real estate projects throughout the nation. Specializing in complex urban initiatives, both residential and mixed use, he has played a key role in the financing and development of more than $750 million in completed real estate projects.

In the early and mid 1990’s, Mr. Roche served as founding director of two private equity investment corporations and a non profit community development corporation, responsible for the financing and development of more than $100 million in affordable housing in Maine and New Hampshire. Prior to those engagements, he served as Director of Development for the Maine Housing Finance Authority and Director of Commercial Development for a national non profit corporation involved in the revitalization of distressed commercial districts across the nation.
