Bill Eager, Chicago Office
As POAH's Chicago Development Director, Mr. Eager oversees all multifamily development activity for POAH”s Chicago office/region. He supervises project managers in the development process from acquisition to completion of construction and lease-up including, financial analysis, design and construction, on-time and on-budget closings and full lease-up. Bill brings more than fifteen years’ experience in economic development, affordable housing development and municipal finance, most recently as Acting Manager Deputy Commissioner for Chicago's Department of Housing and Economic Development's Housing Bureau. He managed the $500 million annual tax increment finance program and the $100 million housing development budget for the City of Chicago. In the 1990s, Bill worked as a newspaper reporter and editor for the Times Union in Albany, NY, the Transcript-Telegram in Holyoke, MA and the Evening News in Westfield, MA. |
