Natalie Cheng

Natalie Cheng serves as Executive Assistant to the president of POAH assisting with her work in the affordable housing, charitable and public policy areas. Previously, Natalie was administrative and program assistant for Emerge America, a San Francisco based nonprofit organization that trains women to run for public office.

At the University of Pennsylvania, she was a Graduate Associate for Fisher Hassenfeld College House serving as a resource to students for their personal and academic needs. Within the School of Design, she was President of the PennDesign Student Council and class representative for the Student Planning Association where she served as liaison to the Department of City and Regional Planning.

At Mount Holyoke College, Natalie was deeply involved in politics and was President of the Mount Holyoke College Democrats as well as Communications Director for the College Democrats of Massachusetts. Her other extracurricular activities included serving as Head Class Agent Officer and a Orientation Leader. She also interned at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office for two summers.

She holds a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania School of Design as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History and Asian Studies from Mount Holyoke College
