George Latimer
Mr. Latimer, the former six-term Mayor of St. Paul, Minnesota, is a labor attorney whose previous positions include Director of the Special Actions Office of HUD and Dean of Hamline University School of Law. Currently a professor of urban studies at Macalester College, he has been President of both the National League of Cities and the National Civic League. Mr. Latimer, who served as a director of the National Equity Fund (NEF) for several years, now sits on the boards of the AFL-CIO Housing Trust and Digital Biometrics, Inc., and is an advisor to the Urban Institute, the American Assembly of Columbia University, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. A graduate of St. Michael's College and Columbia University School of Law, Mr. Latimer received a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship for graduate study at the University of Chicago. |
