William Apgar
Mr. Apgar is Senior Scholar at Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies and Kennedy School of Government, directing the Center’s evaluation of the Community Reinvestment Act, a national effort to promote lending, investment and economic development in low income communities. He also teaches courses in public policy and economic development at the Kennedy School, and pursues additional research in housing finance, housing development and demographic analysis. Mr. Apgar previously served as Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He is a graduate of Williams College and holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard. |
