| In making its first Illinois purchase, POAH rescued Crestview Village in Kankakee from bankruptcy in 2005. One of the single largest providers of affordable housing in Kankakee, the new Crestview Village has proven to be an essential asset to the development's residents as well as the city. POAH subsequently expanded its presence by acquiring the Grove Parc property on the South Side of Chicago at the request of the residents' association. |
