Dave is POAH’s Director of Energy and Capital Projects, working to integrate conservation, efficiency, and sustainability into all facets of property operations. Following POAH's data-driven approach, he identifies, reviews, and implements energy and water related investments that positively impact resident health and quality of life and ensure long-term financial stability and performance.
Dave guides POAH’s internal energy policies that call for reductions in energy and water use across the portfolio and participates in formulating legislative and regulatory proposals aimed at aligning affordable housing policy with climate change and energy security policies.
Dave also directs the procurement of energy supply contracts and participates in the capital and operating budgets process. He works closely with the POAH Communities team on maintenance initiatives aimed at utility savings and extending equipment useful life.
Prior to joining POAH, Dave was the sustainability manager with a Boston-based consultancy serving the affordable housing industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a Master’s degree in Community Development and Planning, both from Clark University.
