POAH Properties Get Ready for School!
At POAH family properties around the country, end-of-summer celebrations are also a chance to fill up school backpacks with the necessary tools for educational success. Many properties team with local office supply stores or merchants to provide pens, pencils, binders and backpacks, necessary items which might otherwise be beyond the reach of family budgets.

Portfolio purchase preserves 953 affordable homes:
POAH has recently closed on five of seven properties previously owned by MB Management, a long-term development/ management company. The properties are located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and include both elderly and family sites. Many would have been very attractive to market-rate housing developers, and their preservation as affordable housing is a significant accomplishment. MB Management will continue to provide property management services to the portfolio

Preserving Providence:
Mayor David Cicciline joined U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Richard Godfrey of Rhode Island Housing and dozens of residents of Pocasset Manor, Hillside Village and Hillcrest Village apartments to celebrate POAH’s first purchases in the capital city. The three sites together preserve 254 affordable rental apartments for families and the elderly, and increase POAH’s presence in Rhode Island to ownership of nearly 500 homes.
